The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) invites you to join the latest webinar series on the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (the Governance Framework). 

The Commission is hosting two free online webinar sessions to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the Governance Framework and its implementation. 

The webinars will feature case studies from health service organisations who participated in the pilot, with a focus on lessons learned and where they are now with their implementation journey. The webinars will also include a live Q&A session after the presentations. 

Webinar 1: Behind the scenes: Governance Framework in action will feature:

• A national private hospital network that participated in the pilot program who will share updates on their current status with implementation, as well as the related opportunities and challenges they have faced.
• Experiences from large public and private metropolitan health service organisations who received established ratings under the maturity scale on how they approached implementation within their own service contexts for clinical trial service provision. 

Webinar 2: Tools for streamlining Governance Framework will feature:

• Available resources to support integration of applicable actions under the Governance Framework, including:
  • Guidance from the Commission on Action 1.11 incident management and open disclosure 
  • A minimum dataset to support reporting requirements against performance measures of Actions 1.1 and 1.18.
